We took Charlie to the pool for the first time two weeks ago......
Here are a few things to note for next time:
-make sure the water is actually warm
-make sure it is not windy and only 78 degrees out (the wind chill made it feel much colder!)
-go to the pool after he's at least had one nap that day
Otherwise, you end up in the pool for only a few minutes before this happens:

The last part is not so bad.
Snuggles with mama make everything better.
Clean, warm, dry clothes help too.
So does a nice long nap.
We'll do better next time Charlie, I promise.
