The weekend is here once again which means breakfast together, lounging around, church on Sunday, naps, long afternoon strolls in the neighborhood. There is always something to do and we get to do it together which I love most. I feel like the weeks are so busy with work and life's responsibilities that we barely get to squeeze in a few hours together as a family over dinner and into the evening before the days are gone. Weekends are different because we are all home and I so look forward to our time together.
These are some pictures from a few Sunday's ago. It was cloudy and cooler so we went on a nice long walk. We stopped at Hawthorne Fish House to catch up on the score of the World Cup soccer game and ate some delicious crab chowder. We then roamed random streets and took the long way home while admiring all the beautiful, colorful homes and streets.
Summer days are nice and long and if we can be outside, you bet we are! I'm sure glad the weekend is here once again. Happy Friday!
